What does Trance-Formative Services offer?

Option 1: 12 Sessions. Achieve your weight loss goals using an effective combination of solution-focused counseling and hypnotherapy. You can use all 12 sessions noted below, or those that most pertain to you in combination with supportive counseling to achieve your goals. This is the program for you if you want a more comprehensive program, feel stuck in various areas, your struggles with weight are long-standing or complicated, you want interventions that are both tailored to your individual needs and structured, or you want to increase your chance of success by being seen over a period of time. It is important that you have an eating program that is professionally created, and are motivated to listen to CD's regularly over a period of weeks. This program includes some suggestions from Judith Pearson's The Weight, Hypnotherapy and You Weight Reduction Program.

 Session Topics

ü       Intake assessment and introduction to hypnotherapy (required)

ü       Alternatives to compulsive eating

ü       Self-hypnosis

ü       Dealing with sugar cravings and withdrawal

ü       Stress management

ü       Making sensible food choices

ü       Creating an intelligent relationship with food

ü       Managing limiting beliefs

ü       Dealing with conflicting desires

ü       Thinking like a thin person

ü       Increasing motivation to exercise

ü       Finishing up and continuing success


Option 2: 8 Sessions. Choose any of the eight sessions listed above and/or use counseling to achieve your goals. The intake assessment is required. It is important that you have an eating program that is professionally created, and are motivated to listen to CD's regularly over a period of weeks. 


 


Options 1 and 2 are the most effective program if you have, or are willing to obtain, a healthy food and exercise plan, if you have insight into your needs and can communicate them, and are willing to engage in a flexible process.   

Option 3: Your choice. You select the sessions (from the twelve listed above) you think would be relevant to you and ask to meet for those only. These sessions, and the suggestions, would be tailored to your specific needs. This is your best option if you have a healthy working - or professionally created - food plan, have been feeling stuck in less-than-optimal eating habits, want to get back on track, are highly motivated to listen to CD's regularly and, for some, have had successful past hypnosis experiences. Payment is per-session. 


Option 4: Purchase a CD. This is your most cost-saving choice, and is best if you have a healthy working - or professionally created - food plan, want to make some readjustments in your eating habits, are highly motivated to listen to the CD regularly and, for some, have had successful past hypnosis experiences. The CD offers suggestions that enable you to make healthy food choices, engage in eating behaviors that are mindful and relaxed, and help you determine when to stop eating.
