You can do it! Hypnosis can increase your proficiency at a sport, whether you are a competitive or recreational athlete, by diminishing your anxiety and/or increasing your focus and confidence. It is best used when you regularly participate in your sport, but under-perform due to a mental block, lack of confidence, anxiety, or if you are distracted in certain circumstances. Both competitive and non-competitive athletes - including Olympic athletes - have reported using hypnosis with profoundly positive effects. It can work for you, too.

Regardless of your sport, you must be prepared, rehearsed, or practiced; hypnosis can successfully remove the mental blocks that interfere with optimal performance, so you can achieve to the capacity you are able. If you have a sport you would like to address that is not listed above, please ask your hypnotist. It is likely that he or she can address it.

The number of sessions can vary based on the complexity of your problem and can be resolved using a combination of solution-focused counseling and hypnotherapy, or either separately, based on your needs and comfort level.
In each case, you will receive a CD that you can listen to in the comfort of your home (you must listen to it on a computer), that will reinforce your progress each time you listen to it.
